Library Spaces for Delivery of Remote Instruction or Research
The UCSB Library is providing 20 spaces for use by Instructors to deliver remote instruction and engage in research during campus closure.
These individual spaces are divided into isolated public spaces and private rooms, depending on the needs of the user. These spaces may include desktop computers with Zoom capabilities, mobile whiteboards or fixed glass boards, in addition to power outlets, printing capabilities, and desks.
The spaces in the Library and HSSB are suitable for research, classroom discussions, and office hours.
Unfortunately, instruction in the performing arts as well as any art or science activities with lab safety requirements cannot be accommodated.
Reservation requests will be reviewed by Library staff and will be approved for eligible users only.
Rooms may be reserved for a maximum of 10 hours per week and may be made up to 10 weeks in advance.
It may take up to 2 business days (M-F) to approve your reservation.
