The Media Rooms, located in the Sara Miller McCune Arts Library (1st Floor, Mountain Side), are home to high-quality audio/visual equipment accessible to all UCSB students, faculty, and staff. The rooms provide opportunity for students to engage with Library media collections, create, refine, and record multimedia projects such as podcasts, video essays, or other digital design endeavors.
The Arts Library Multimedia Studio (Room 1402) provides access to high-quality equipment for podcast production, video/interview recording, and for group listening.
- The Studio is self-service and does not offer in-person, on-demand training or assistance.
- Users can request scheduled assistance or report issues by emailing mediarooms@library.ucsb.edu.
- Reservations for the Studio may be made online 2 weeks in advance, for up to 4 hours per day, and up to 8 hours per week.
- DUO authentication is now required for room booking.
